Why have multiple sets of wireless headphones cut in and out?
I have four sets of wireless headphones from RadioShack, all the same brand / model. I have a base coupled to the television. All four headsets is set to the same channel (the 3 options I have, they are all on channel 1). Why is it that when I turn on more than a headset at the same time, those of experience periodic frequent distortions, including a complete drop in sound? I am not a physicist, but seems to me that if I shout something, a person hearing that cry no limits to how high one else can hear it. Why would more headphones therefore cause interference with each other? Regarding the comments about interference, I use multiple headsets with only one base station powered up. It is two or more headsets is to remove the same signal coming from an operational base.
it's signal interference, you bought the same model, they keep capturing each other's signals, whatever their settinf is, try to look for different models that run on different signals.

In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. And with cable and satellite television costing anywhere from $65-$150 a month (more if you count premium movie channels) many people are making their television sets the first part of their homes to get the ax. But what if there was a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?
