
Trying to connect Comcast Digital cable box and DVD player to an older television with only one coax cable?
It works fine with the cable from wall to Comcast Box and Comcast box to the TV via an RF modulator. I tried to connect the DVD player to cable is extra input field, but I can not get the device to recognize the input device … any input device to question whether a VCR, an iPod or a DVD player, I quit. Thank you!
The cable box is not built to support This feature box has no VIDEO IN connections, only the VIDEO OUT. Use RCA connectors for DVD VIDEO OUT to VIDEO IN on the TV or RF modulator. Same goes for videogames. VCR hookup – From the cable box using Coax from TV / ANTENNA OUT to VIDEO IN on the VCR so the VCR from the cable out / VIDEO OUT to VIDEO IN on the TV or RF modulator. Or checkout craigslist for a free TV with further links to bypass the RF modulator.
