Is an LCD television, the same as an LED television?
I try to have a clear understanding of LCD, Plasma, and LED. I do not want a projection screen TV. Some of TV Online says LED, like Samsung T6187S what it means. What is the difference?
The Samsung T6187S is a rear-projection DLP, but instead of using a bulb it uses 3 LED lights. There are LCDs with LED backlight as well, but these are still very expensive. Synthesis LED TV can be many different things; LCD, DLP, etc. so read all the specs carefully.
