In India, what is the latest technology in television? ieLCD, LED, Plasma, etc?

None of these technologies are new. So no one would be the "Latest" technology. They all have been in decades. But all these technologies have improved over the years. Each producer constantly releases newer models. So there is some "new" models out there. Panasonic has their G and V series plasmas. These would be the latest and greatest in plasma. Samsung has their LED LCD. This line is their latest and best. Sony has their different XBR lines. I think now up to XBR 10 so this is their latest and greatest (which happens to be an LED LCD). Sharp and LG also has some recently updated LED LCD offers. All these will be "the art" technology available really.

LCD vs. Plasma

In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. And with cable and satellite television costing anywhere from $65-$150 a month (more if you count premium movie channels) many people are making their television sets the first part of their homes to get the ax. But what if there was a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?
