I hear something in a television, although it is off or muted .. What is it?? Which site do you refer to?

Remember the key is on the side … And what device can I use to know what it is?? Please I need this for my science project

I'm not sure but its probably from the picture tube in a television set and sound that is probably between 18,000 to 20,000 hertz. I hope Info Helps Ya
