I need to buy a digital TV converter box for my television set, which one is best?

If you bought one, you mention it and its performance so far. Thank you. I have requested coupons, but I know that some converter boxes provide a stronger signal. I want to know which ones offer the most channels and a higher quality image.

You will probably get many opinions which are best, but I did check around on the Internet, which one was rated higher of users, and it came up with the Zenith DTT900 that I bought two from Circuit City. I understand that a newer version DTT901 is now on the market. My two have worked fine. With a outdoor UHF antenna about 20 Ft. high, I can pull in stations from 80 miles. I'm sure there are others who want good reception, if not better. Added Note: I use a preamp with a high gain 8 Bay Bow Tie antenna from Channel Master.

In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. And with cable and satellite television costing anywhere from $65-$150 a month (more if you count premium movie channels) many people are making their television sets the first part of their homes to get the ax. But what if there was a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?
