I need help! who knows how to troubleshoot television?
our television suddenly works correctly when I used a universal remote control. it started getting this weird shapeless limit & its color display had crashed to just purple & black .. I dont know what happened, but im sure that it was caused by the external coz right after I entered the code for our TV, as it restarts & began to show such undesirable changes .. Now my problem is how to return the original settings for our TV. it does not solve by simply turning it off, though its menu can not undo the changes .. I was wondering if there is anything I can do just to "reset" or "reprogram" our TV sets. pls help me. im so dead ..
Before you freak completely verify the following: If the TV is connected to cable or satellite box with Component cables (red, green and blue), make sure that both ends of the green cable is pushed into their jacks full. This problem seems to be a lack of green cable into a component cable setup, which would mean that everything is purple, red, blue and black. Other than that, if it is a component setup make sure you have not selected a component model that is incompatible with the standard video source (cable box or satellite box). If using an HDMI cable off the cable or satellite box then turn off the TV. Turn on the TV back on first, then cable or satellite box. Just some things that sample.
