Have a current television antenna work better than a non-powered antenna?

Just trying to figure out some DTV solutions. I have a non-powered set of rabbit ears, and I'm not getting much results. I live almost 60 miles from most local stations.

What you are talking about is an amplified antenna. I doubt that an enhanced set of rabbit ears will help you all so much in your area, and particularly if there are no hills between where you live, and broadcast towers. But generally, an amplified antenna in any situation where you have a marginal signal is a fantastic idea.
