what wall bracket should i use for my 19inch Samsung TV?
Hey, i have recently purchased a Samsung 19inch LCD television
(http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/513962/SAMSUNG-SM933HD/tab/specification#spec)
and i would like to put it on an 20 inch wall (which can support the television and a bracket) Samsung recomend a VESA bracket which is well over £200! Literally more than the TV is there a cheaper option under £50?
Of course, Samsung recommends that bracket because I’d bet it’s a subsidiary of theirs. Meaning they get profit from it’s sales.
And I’m sure there are cheaper options in the UK as there are in the US. And with the TV being a 19″ its light enough that I wouldn’t worry about using a cheaper bracket. What I would worry about is making sure you have it properly anchored to the studs in the wall. That’s where the real issue lies with this type of installation.
Here in the US, Sears, K-Mart, WalMart all sell less expensive mounts. Check your UK equivalent of those stores and you certainly should find something within your price range.

In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. And with cable and satellite television costing anywhere from $65-$150 a month (more if you count premium movie channels) many people are making their television sets the first part of their homes to get the ax. But what if there was a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?
