funny television monologues
Big Big Big Big big question … please help?

So I have an audition tomorrow for NYU and you have to have two contrasting monologues … blah blah blah you know the deal but this is one of the specifications: — "monologues from published plays must — Original cuts or adjustments through films, television shows or novels are not acceptable … so my question is, is a musical one game? So if I were doing a monologue from the musical funny girl … it would be okay right? Its a musical and all … but it does not say anything about musicals …. please help! what do you think?? … oh by the way, I dont know if it helps, but im auditiong the acting program … not musical theater or something

A musical is a play, but unless audition specifically to sing, I would do more prep for presenting a monologue, as instructed.
