Online Service for Cable TV?

Right now I have cable internet but not cable television. The only provider that we have in town is Time Warner cable and they charge $ 50.00 one month for standard cable TV and $ 30.00 a month for Internet access. For the most part, I see what I can on Hulu.com, but there are still a lot of shows that not air on Hulu. I know that Time Warner has largely to contract all their other stations, and I was wondering if perhaps there was a cheaper online alternative to cable television? I already see a majoiry of my shows online, I would not mind paying $ 10.00 or $ 15.00 a month for streaming cable, as long as it gave the standard channels such as MTV, Fox and Cartoon Network. Has anyone heard of any online services like this? Yes I know a lot of these stations show free stuff online, but they are also very selective and a lot of times, I can not find what I want to actually see.

In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. And with cable and satellite television costing anywhere from $65-$150 a month (more if you count premium movie channels) many people are making their television sets the first part of their homes to get the ax. But what if there was a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?
