HELPP!! 8th grade stuff-convince me?
convince me by telling me which decades
[1920, 1930, 1940, 1950,1960,1970,1980 , or1990]
that is the most important. ex: 1940’s because of WW2 and then tell me why. or vietnam war, or martin luther king’s year [1960's i think]
i have to do a project for schoolo and my teacher told me and my partner to choose a decade. can you convince me to which decade i use. it could be about ANYTHING/BODY that happened that has to change history. ex: colored television, martin luther kling’s speach
thank you soooooo much. =]
Believe me, nothing else is more significant than this date:
December 7th, 1941… the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was a disaster and one of the major contributors and ignitors of World War 2.
You might want to realise that the Americans were almost in defeat if it were not because of the release of the A-bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Find out more about it through searches around the net (Google/Yahoo) and you’ll see what I mean. Its a very broad subject and definitely interest your teacher and classmates. I bet most of them would be doing on some other ‘easier’ things.
World War 2 was not only an important event, it changed and evolved the history of mankind. Many Asian countries today are still living in the scars of the World War and most Southeast Asians had a lot of recollection and tearful memories from the Japanese Occupation throughout their invasion and policies.
An interesting subject not to be missed, and I assure you, if done impressively, will reward you well for all your efforts.
Hope that you’re convinced now and good luck!
SONNY FOX, A Wonderama Guy!
In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. And with cable and satellite television costing anywhere from $65-$150 a month (more if you count premium movie channels) many people are making their television sets the first part of their homes to get the ax. But what if there was a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?
