Another question to my American friends?
I will tell you two incidents that disturbed me terribly. It happened in the 90s and let me tell you a black man named James Byrd went on a lonely road when a pickup truck pulled over with some white men. these men caught james bound him on truck and drove across the yard until his whole body and legs were chopped meet a boy named Matthew Shephard, who was a homosexual was lince by some white men, who hated homosexuals. They hung matthew on a fence and bashed him until he died now, these men who carried out these horrible crimes were Christians. But I never American TV evangelist who has openly condemned these crimes then why? Ex Muslim / atheist
SENITA: I can remember the two incidents you mention, and I remember a lot more that I could write several books on the subject. And I will tell you that our is not a perfect society we have a dark side, a bad page, like all other society on earth, like all other religion on earth. But the way we deal with this issue is by changing the law. The first incident you mention, so To my knowledge, the culprits were prosecuted and the other is under investigation. These events were rejected in different times and I am sure the various churches had refused them too. If you want a worldwide broadcast, sorry, but it never occurred to ensure you see it. Do not be too hard on us, I wish You can come to America and enjoy the freedom we have, we do not punish our women to wear a skirt that goes far enough after an inch, we do not penalize our women not covering her face, or to smoke or to speak with a man in public. We're pretty liberal on these issues. In this society we respect the different sex options people may have. In this society, married white white or Oriental or Hispanic, and they are not penalized for that-not long ago, news hit one of hedlines of a girl who was killed for falling in love with someone of another religion, and it was not in the U.S., and they were not Christians. Yes we have problems you mentioned, but we're working on to solve them. I hope you sooth your perception of American society, we have problems and we will resolve them, and you always are welcome to enjoy our freedom. Your American friend.
Pat Robertson Calls Quake ‘blessing in Disguise’
In today’s rocky economic climate, most households are cutting back wherever they can. And with cable and satellite television costing anywhere from $65-$150 a month (more if you count premium movie channels) many people are making their television sets the first part of their homes to get the ax. But what if there was a way to enjoy thousands of television channels, including hard to find international shows and sports programming, and never pay another monthly cable bill again?
